Nespresso have also confirmed you can register it on their website as a gift as I don\'t have the receipt, Also if you join the Nespresso club (This is free to join) & if you make a coffee purchase they will give you an additional 1 year warranty added to the normal 2 years stand alone warranty giving 3 years warranty in total.
