Description
7-piece Afro band looking for a talented bass player. The music is afrofunk/beat with counter rhythmic extroverted grooves and looking for a musician that can feel counter rhythms with feel for afro/latin/funk/highlife-based music. The lineup will be lead vocal and rhythm guitar, keyboard, percussion, drums, bass, tenor sax and alto sax. All original material. Its currently not paid as we build chemistry and profile and therefore this is the immediate goal at the moment but the ultimate target is to get paid gigs. The grooves are made up of counter rhythms/off beats sitting in unexpected pockets from a western perspective. Looking for a musician that can help to realize the full potential of this music.
