crystal black shrimp
£3
Description
These shrimp require specific conditions and are best kept in a shrimp only aquarium.
they require clean, soft and slightly acidic water.
You will need to do your research before buying these shrimp and will need an established planted aquarium.
these shrimp are great to watch, very social with each other. once your tank is set up and you've got it right they require very little maintenance. they don't harm plants and can be kept in aquariums as small as 30L! ( although I recommend the biggest you can afford)
they need heater and air driven sponge filter and regular water changes.
Some people overestimate how difficult they are to care for- i'm having more success with these shrimp than the more common cherry shrimp. If you do your research and set up your tank properly, they're pretty easy :)
£2.50 each.
its not possible to 'grade' these shrimp yet but they're healthy and from well established, disease free tank.
Parents are A-S grade.
reason for selling is my bee shrimp seem to be breeding very well and I don't want to wait until my tank is fully stocked to start selling them.
These are my pet shrimp , not mass produced from abroad.
Please please do plenty of research- ask any questions you have :)
best kept at 18-23 degrees c
ph 5.5-6.5 is ideal
soft water is needed- total dissolved solids between 100 and 150 parts per million.
I suggest you either invest in a reverse osmosis unit, or buy reverse osmosis water from maidenhead aquatics in Dobbies or other aquatic shop.
photos are from google but mine are the same- look FAR better in person.
Please no time wasters!
