Web / Front end developer part-time (Bristol Centre)
Description
GWS Media is an established digital marketing and design agency looking for part time web / front end developers.
The role will involve work on a variety of projects ranging from CMS-based websites to custom development. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
- You can turn Photoshop layouts into web pages using e.g. WordPress (or some other CMS)
- Good CSS / HTML knowledge and familiarity with building responsive sites
- You're enthusiastic to learn new skills and technologies, and enjoy working in a team
- You love creating websites, and you like to keep up with the latest trends!
It will be an advantage if you have one or more of these:
- Experience with more than one Content Management System
- You know how to choose, install and configure CMS plugins
- Familiarity with Bootstrap / JQuery
- Some knowledge of PHP
- Adobe After Effects / video-editing skills
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a very friendly team located off Queen Square in the heart of Bristol. You will be working on a variety of client and internal projects and will have the chance to be involved in both App and cutting-edge technology projects.
Salary £10.00 per hour + incentives + company health insurance scheme (6 month qualifying period) + coffee and biscuits
