Down's Syndrome Scotland is looking for Volunteer Mentors for their Friends Connect Project.
Volunteers help young people and adults with Down’s syndrome build their confidence and self-esteem, get out and about more doing the things they enjoy but also getting involved and taking part in new activities. It's also about supporting 'friendships' to grow by helping Friends Group members meet up with each other.
It is a fun, rewarding and inspirational role - ALL IT TAKES is a commitment to a couple of meet ups every month. We will provide training and all the help you need to be a successful Mentor.
Car user is essential. You also need to be 18 + .
