The rent for single rooms is £310 per calendar month which includes TV license and the broadband. All housemates share the utility bills and council tax together (about £60 per month per person). No agency or other fees, just the deposit (£400. 00) and the first month’s rent in advance on the day you move in (must be cleared amounts first). References and ID required.
The accommodation is a spacious and comfortable semi-detached house in a quiet residential area with beautiful views. It is close to Bristol City centre with very good bus, cycle routes and around 15 minutes bus ride to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Road and railway links connect to everywhere due to its location. It’s close to the Broadwalk shopping centre, local banks and the post office. It’s just off Wells Road and near Totterdown, Bath Road and Airport Road. There is a large 24hr Tesco supermarket nearby with free bus service during the weekdays. Excellent short travel link to Bristol City centre via N 5, 20, 36, 51, 53A, 54, 376, 511 bus services and also served and situated near other main bus routes.
The house has been refurbished recently and is in excellent condition, very tidy and clean. It has all modern conveniences, centrally heated, spacious and comfortable and has proven itself to work well with a mixed, easy-going shared household of occupants. The house is very peaceful and quiet with a big, sunny south facing garden to the rear. There are strawberry plants, apple tree and black currant bushes in the garden with raised vegetable beds which will suit someone with green fingers. There are also a large patio and a build-in BBQ area for you to relax and sunbathing. A big workshop at the back with lighting is perfect for extra storage and for keeping your bicycle dry. There is a driveway space for one car and easy parking on the street.
Included to share is one large reception with comfy sofa, coffee table, TV cabinet and digital TV points (Flat screen TV belongs to one of the housemates). There is a well-equipped kitchen with oven, gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, condensing tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, microwave, own allocated private cupboard space, all plates, cups, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery etc., (nothing to buy!). There is a separate dining room right next to the kitchen, so plenty of space for eating and socialising. Upstairs there is a spacious bathroom with powerful shower and luxury corner bath, toilet and a wash basin.
Current housemates are one female accountant, one male who works for a domestic services company and a male who works for a law firm. We are all in our mid-twenties – mid thirties. We are seeking like-minded professional people who are always busy with work/study; someone who is laid back (but tidy and clean), easy going, mature, quiet, non-smoker, positive and willing to share house cleaning duties.
We are looking for quiet mature individuals (over 22) who are working or studying part/full-time but not unemployed – no DSS; must be tidy and a non-smoker with no pets. Long term let (6 months minimum) from 12th of June. If you’re a long distance work commuter with a home somewhere else and only require the room during the week – that’s cool too!
