Our BODYSHAPERS seaweed wrap is one of the oldest forms of
Thalassotherapy treatment, known for its healing and rejuvenation
properties, it increases blood circulation, oxygenates, tones,
moisturises and revitalises the body and skin.
How do the wraps work?
Our wraps are a combination of ingredients that have specific effects
on the body , these help to increase the metabolic rate, breaks down
cellulite deposits and disperses fatty cells. Tones, moisturises and
revitalises skin.
Laminaria digitata: Rich in essential minerals and trace elements,
contains amino acids and vitamins A,E and C. Helps to stimulate the
production of collagen in the body. Strengthens the immune system,
increases vitality and protects from damage from free radicals.
Lithothamnium calcareum: Rich in calcium and magnesium, contains
significant levels of other minerals and trace elements like
phospherous, potassium, manganese, boron, iodine, zinc, copper,
selenium and cobalt. These minerals restore tone and vitality to the
body, whilst cleansing and detoxing.
Iodine: The concentration of Iodine is high in seaweed and it is
responsible for the synthesis of the Thyroid gland hormones .Oxygen
absorbtion of the cells . Fat and carbohydrate metabolism is stimulated.
Sea salt: Sea salt releases toxic agents from tissue, improves blood
circulation and regulates the PH value of the tissue.
Spirulina: Spirulina is very rich in proteins and Vitamins A and E.
Rich in Vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.
How to use: Measure and make a note of area to be wrapped.
Mix 1 part powder with 2-3 parts warm water, ( 3 tablespoons for tummy area)
mix thoroughly until you get a lovely smooth homogenous paste.
Apply immediately to area being wrapped.
This is a self heating wrap so no need for bandages. Wrap tightly in clingfilm.
Wait 15-30 minutes. Remove cling film. Wipe clean then rinse.
Re measure.
Use on a regular basis for maintained inch loss, to increase metabolic rate,
to tone and break down cellulite.
