A competent cook is required to join our busy pub kitchen team to cover duties varying from basic food preparation to cooking our established range of quality basic food. This is a kitchen that thrives on teamwork and the successful candidate will be expected to be a team player, getting involved in all tasks including washing up, cleaning, and food prep, as well as accepting leadership of the team in absence of the head cook. A Basic Food Hygiene Qualification is essential and familiarity with kitchen record keeping desirable. The reputation of the hotel is based on it’s quality home cooked menu and you will need to be able to demonstrate consistent, high quality cooking under pressure in the busy high season.
