I have owned the van since 2013 and have only used it as a weekend hobby van for motorbiking or the odd camping trip. we have just returned from the isle of man and the van near missed a beat.

since owning the van I have replaced the following, bottom arms, track rod ends, track rod joints, drivesharfts, top mounts, shocks, anti roll bar links/bushes, discs and pads, fuel filter, air flow meter, fuel pressure reg valve, oil changed regularly and cam belt was done 2 weeks before leaving for isle of man.

before I brought the van the gearbox was replaced as most vivaros boxes fail. this one has had a gearbox from a abs model fitted, this means there is no speedo drive. I use a sat nav for my speedo and has never caused me an issue. with the limited miles I cover and as this was my second mode of transport i would say the miles would be around 130k

there are a couple of items to be aware of that I know about. the heater control cable needs replacing as air only blows to the screen.

van is also registered as a cat C back in 2013. I carried out repairs and upgrades the front end and seat to the later shape. there was no chassis or heavy damage. we did however need to respray the off side as there was several scratches in panels. not a cheap job and has been done well. there are still a few marks on the off side of the van but nothing major.

great weekend hobby van for some one.
