Blackadder Holiday Park in Scotland is a Pleasant 37 mile journey from the Capital Edinburgh. The Park is set exclusively on the Banks of The River Blackadder offering a relaxing country lifestyle away from the busy cities. This unique Riverside setting is what makes Blackadder Holiday Park the perfect location to enjoy holidays whenever you choose.
We are open for eleven and a half months per year, only closing for a couple of weeks in February.
~~~A Setting of outstanding Natural Heritage~~~
The Caravan Park is Designated by Scottish Natural Heritage as a special area of conservation (SSSI ) noted as supporting the presence of Atlantic Salmon, Otters, Sea, River and Brook Lamperey, all threatened species in a European context.
Herons frequently feed from the river, and Otters are occasionally spotted frolicking on the banks and in the water.
~~~Around the Caravan Park~~~
With a direct access to the Village Bowling Green, we are ideally placed to enjoy long sunny days with friends.
Go Fly Fishing on the River Blackadder or on any of the other rivers and reservoirs close by.
Enjoy Golf at any of the five venues within fifteen minutes easy reach by car, or a walk along endless lanes and footpaths.
The Rhymer’s Stone Viewpoint marks the site of the Eildon Tree under which, legend says, Thomas The Rhymer met the Fairie Queen.
Our varied regional landscape allows all types of cyclist to enjoy their favourite terrain: fast downhill off road stretches, strenuous road climbs or relatively flat country lanes for all the family.
Or finally just enjoy a pleasant day out at one of the many attractions that are close at hand.
