Up styles The Art of Dressing Hair for Beginners – 27th June 2016
This course is an introduction to the art of putting hair up quickly and easily for formal occasions and weddings. Learn some of the secrets of a good 'up do' this course will take the mystery out of putting up hair and teach you how to prepare the hair for a picture perfect finish.
On the course you will be taught:
• Choosing the right style to suit the individual
• How to backcomb
• How to section
• How to hide hair
• How and when to add decoration (Flowers, slides)
• 2 Demonstrations of simple up styles on live models
This is followed by a 'hands on' practical session where the students will create up styles on live models or practice heads. (Students are required to provide a model for the afternoon practical session - alternatively a practice head can be purchased for £25:00 on the day)
The price includes tea, coffee and biscuits and a light lunch will be provided for all Students.
