Alba Science Ltd. is a leading supplier of consumer product testing services in the UK and Europe, performing safety and efficacy testing of new Cosmetic, Household and Personal products prior to going to market.
As part of the expansion of our Edinburgh operations, we are currently looking for two Trainee Clinical Research Technicians to join our Edinburgh team on a 6-month temporary contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-moving and exciting company in the Research and Development sector.
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting our clinical staff with the planning and execution of our research studies. This will involve liaising with our volunteer panel, preparing paperwork and facilities for study execution, also assisting the clinical staff and volunteers during studies.
As part of a versatile and dedicated team, it is essential that successful candidates possess excellent people skills, ideally with experience of working with members of the public, be well-organised and able to manage their own time effectively. Although no prior experience in the Research and Development sector is required for this position, it is expected that applicants also possesses good analytical skills and are competent using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Salary : £14-16K
