We are looking for independent, hardworking people who are looking to start a new career in the ever growing transport industry. You must hold a full driving licence, be over the age of 18 and pass a medical prior to commencing training for a career as professional LGV driver.
With online shopping only getting bigger the haulage industry is calling out for new drivers to take on the demand.
Our training programme will see you fully immersed into the industry and learning from experienced instructors.
Following acceptance from our telephone interview you will be offered a place onto our training programme where you will gain all the knowledge required to become a fully qualified LGV professional driver.
Topics you will cover;
o Driving skills - vehicles over 3,500kg (with a trailer up to 750kg)
o Hazard perception
o Basic mechanics
o Loading and securing loads
o Vehicle safety
o Manoeuvres - such as reversing
o Highway code and LGV regulations
o Driver CPC (certificate of professional competency)
