Personal Training
Description
Hi there! My name is Sofie Wilkes and I am a student at Edinburgh University and, most importantly, an athlete. I have been an athlete for about 10 years now and am very well versed in understanding fitness and health. I have trained for long distance running during my younger years but am now a sprinter and train 6 days per week, following a careful diet and training program. I have been coached by 4 different, fully qualified coaches whose knowledge and advice I have retained firmly in my mind. I am also a qualified first aider, having most recently completed and passed a first aid course in May of this year.
Health and fitness are my passions and I dedicate much of my time to researching how I can make exercise more effective and how to prevent, as well as treat, injury.
I am very well organised, enthusiastic, friendly and reliable. I believe that with the correct training program and guidance, anyone can be the person they want to be.
If you are looking to loose weight, gain muscle, speed, endurance or simply to feel better but are not sure how to do it or perhaps need some motivation, then I will be able to help you do that.
A first session with me will entail an assessment of your current fitness level as well as a chat about your fitness goals and any previous or ongoing health issues.
I charge £20 per hour, and the first assessment session is free.
I am able to travel within Edinburgh only and am happy to organise training sessions in the gym of your choice.
I am currently in Tenerife but will be returning to Edinburgh the week starting the 11th of July.
If you are interested in arranging a meeting with me then please send me an email and I will see you soon!
