Nottingham Foods are seeking a Sales Order Processor & Administrator to join our small team – there’s twelve of us. Part of our business is the wholesale of food and packaging products to independent sandwich shops in Nottingham, Derby and South Yorkshire.
We sell pretty much everything a sandwich bar needs from the bacon, butter & brown sauce to the paper bag the finished cob goes in, along with the paper coffee cup & lid for the accompanying coffee.
All of our customers are well established and have set delivery days and we phone them all the day before for their order.
We’re looking for a bright, down to earth person to telephone the customers each day for their order, and then input it into the system to generate the invoice for their delivery, in addition to all associated tasks in preparing the delivery drivers runs the following day.
The Skills You Will Need
A proactive person (we don’t do micromanagement) focused in providing excellent customer service on a can do basis.
Down to earth and professional conversational type communicator.
A good team player (we don’t do office politics) and quick learner.
Excellent keyboard skills with a good eye for detail.
Previous experience is preferred, but not essential for the right person You’ll receive full on the job training.
What You’ll Get in Return
Hours are part time, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 1.30pm at a starting wage of £7.20 rising to £8.00 after a short 30-day probationary period. We have free parking and a government pension scheme.
