DELL LATITUDE E6540
This laptop was purchased on the 10th February 2015 for £1200. This is the latest version of the E6540.
These laptops usually go for around £650 without warranty, so, this is a bargain.
The laptop has 'Onsite Service After Remote Diagnosis' warranty until February 11th 2018, to cover both hardware and software. The warranty will be transferred to the buyer once they have received the laptop and are satisfied. This is done through an online web form and takes 3-15 business days to complete. When you are buying any Dell product online, ask the seller if they are the original owner, most of the time they will be a re-seller and won't have access to the warranty, despite listing it on the description as being active.
As you can see from the photos, the top of the laptop has a plastic protector on. Dell, when they came out to replace the wireless card, replaced the whole top panel, as this is where the antenna are situated.
Also, on a separate occasion, Dell replaced the speakers. On both occasions I received a next day service, to my work and resolution was prompt. I've included pictures of both repair slips in the gallery.
As you can see from one of the repair slips, which was dated 26/4/2016, there is "no physical damage on system".
