Hill’s Prescription Diet includes a variety of clinically tested, therapeutic foods for treating a variety of different conditions in cats and dogs. Allergies and intolerances can cause sensitive or irritated skin as well as digestive problems. Cats that show adverse reactions to food typically experience an abnormal response to the protein in the food, which is why Hill’s Prescription Diet Feline z/d Ultra Allergen-Free is formulated with Hill's Hydrolyzed Protein System, highly digestible proteins that minimize the chances of adverse reactions to food. Hill’s Prescription Diet Feline z/d does not contain intact animal proteins, to reduce the risk of allergic reaction, whilst added antioxidants help to support a healthy immune system and neutralise harmful free radicals. Hill’s Prescription Diet Feline z/d Ultra Allergen-Free can be used as an elimination diet for cats with suspected food intolerances or allergies and it can also be fed to cats that have other allergies.
