Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Somerset are all recruiting
Help improve local healthcare for local people.
Visit community groups in your area to find out what people think about local hospitals, GP surgeries and care homes so Healthwatch can take action to improve care, based on what people say they want and need.
What will I be doing?
•Find and contact community events and groups
•Visit these groups to find out people’s views and experiences of using local health and social care services
•Accurately record and report the views of these groups back to your local Healthwatch
•Promote Healthwatch and its role by attending community events and talking with the public.

Personal qualities needed for the role
•Proactive in finding groups to visit and contacting these groups
•Good listening skills and confidence to speak to new people
•Ability to dedicate six to eight hours a month
•Ability to write accurate records of people’s experiences of care
•Reliability
•Passion for improving local health and social care services
•Respectful of all people from all backgrounds.
No experience is required as full support and training will be given.
