We are looking for someone who can telephone and take calls from prospective customers, and meet and greet people in our high street premises and at our events.
Can you approach someone who walks through a door and say “Hello, how can I help you?” with a big smile on your face and a positive attitude?
Can you telephone someone you do not know and say “Hi, I’m calling from People Building. I noticed you had enquired about our training and I wanted to let you know that we have an event coming up this weekend. Would you like to come along?” with a chipper voice and ability to say it over and over again to many different people without losing your enthusiasm?
Can you take responsibility for things that happen in a professional way? For example, If you came into the office whilst the director was away, and found a window had been smashed over the weekend, could you quickly create an action plan from making the area safe, to getting the window replaced in the most cost effective way?
Can you ask questions to broaden your understanding of a role to enable you to be the best that you can be at it?
About the role
People Building is a training and coaching company and we are looking for someone to support us with telesales, phone and face to face customer support. In exchange for your time supporting the business, you will earn free training from People Building/NLP4Kids and further bonuses based on your ability to reach clear KPI’s.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to motivate yourself. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients enquiries are answered thoroughly, and for promoting our work over the telephone to generate new business. You must speak, read, write and understand English very well as you will be keeping up to date records of your interactions and follow up schedules. Our average customer value is £2500 so you must conduct yourself with the appropriate business acumen and have a thorough knowledge of our company. There are 3 companies that you will be promoting so you need to be prepared to learn and remember a great deal of detail.
You will be based at our office in Hemel Hempstead. You need to be punctual and reliable. To fulfil this role you must be confident and articulate and you need to have a positive, outgoing and cheerful personality.
There are great opportunities for a full time paying position with bonuses for the right person but you will have to immerse yourself fully into the role to get to grips with it first.
There will be weekly reporting required in which you will be expected to demonstrate the impact that your skills are contributing. You must take feedback well as there is lots to learn and you must be ready to adapt quickly and remain positive under pressure.
You will be working directly with the company director and as such you need to feel confident and within yourself, able to communicate with ease and comfortable in taking direction and feedback.
The job is based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP1 1LS. You need to be able to get to this location to be able to do it! The train station is an £8 taxi ride away. Travel expenses will be paid for any out of office travel that may be required.
Key Elements of the Role
Contacting school databases to offer introductory sessions
Contacting potential NLP4Kids licensees to invite them to our live events
Contacting our NLP database to invite them to trainings and events
Liaising with our licensees with regards to contracts we have awarded them.
Maintaining a diary/calendar of follow up activities required
Providing support during events
Providing customer support over the phone and booking in client appointments and consultations
