Care Your Way are recruiting Community Care Workers to work with their clients in Burgess Hill and surrounding area.

We offer:

Pay Rates up to £10.50 Per Hour

Care Your Way believes that a successful Care Worker should always have the right values and attitude -and requires the following skills:
Genuine interest in working in a caring environment;
Willingness to participate in free training arranged by the company
Ability to communicate at all levels;
Flexible availability – able to work days/hours that fit the needs of the company within reasonable timescales.
Your role will consist of various duties such as:
Administer medication;
Prepare meals;
Shopping;
Social activities and companionship;
Enable service users to remain in their own homes by providing the support and care needed to help them achieve maximum independence;
Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting / assisting service users, as required , with washing, dressing, toileting, undressing, meal preparation, assisting self-administration of prescribed medication and all other aspects of daily living;
Assisting service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g physical, emotional, spiritual) providing attention when needed, whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity;
Encourage service users to regain their confidence;
Respect the service users and strive to establish and maintain their trust and confidence;
Undertake all duties as identified in the person-centered care plan;
Document all care given in accordance with policies and procedures;
Record and report any changes in circumstances in the service users’ social or health conditions to a Care Manager;
Comply with all risk assessments that are put in place and to be responsible for notifying the acre manager of any changes / updates;
Report any complaints, incidents or accidents immediately;
