So its a Bluray/DVD player (panasonic) + the Amp / Speakers (onkyo)
Plays Blu-ray discs and DVDs and CDs. Bluuray player also connects to internet for things like iplayer / youtube and netflix (plus any others you want to put on) in HD, basically makes your TV a smart TV.
The picture quality from the Panasonic player is about as good as you can get - you also have all the surround sound options like Dolby Digital, DTS for films - but if you just want to listen to music as a music enthusiast you can have pure stereo (which i use when listening to CDs)

Top quality setup - Both almost as new and hardly used. Both remote control.

Everything you need except for the TV - I will even throw in 2 HDMI leads to complete the set up. Amazing picture quality much better audio than any soundbar. Only reason Im feeling it is Ive been given a larger setup by my dad.
Its all digital and HD and uses HDMI although you have the option to connect other things such as optical cables or standard red/ white audio din leads on the back.
Great for any films - or music. Really big powerful sound - link up to any TV for your own cinema, as well as playing Blurays also upscales your existing DVDs to near HD quality, it also plays film HD files such as mp4s and music files like mp3s from a usb stick at the front.
Has HDMI inputs / optical / dolby digital, stereo, theatre surround sound etc
You can also put your TV through it or play your ipod or iphone / smartphone content / music through it as well like a giant dock.
