To answer a few questions about how much track use the car has seen, I do not know exactly but I can see this from the paperwork - the owner that built the car over the 2011/2012 winter sold the car in September 2014 and looking at the MOT's and invoice dates he covered roughly 6K miles in it over that period, this was the owner that tracked the car, I know the last owner did not track it. It's obviously been built as a road legal track car and has been used daily since it was built so most of that mileage will presumably be road miles. Its also worth noting that this is obviously not some lash up of chopped springs and worn out dampers and as such the car is actually pretty comfortable on the roads, it doesn't bang or crash or dance around the road in any way, its fairly civilised for what it is.
This is a road legal track car and is such fun to drive it really is like a go-kart and is a great entry to a BMW track car, the levels of grip this car has is almost unbelievable, with an M52 under the bonnet it would be a proper weapon...
As can be seen in the photos there are a few cosmetic areas that let it down. The worst areas are the lower doors and a knock on the OSF corner, it was like this when I got it and I was told it was a carpark incident by the previous owner. I've fitted a new indicator as the old one was cracked but the nose cone front panel below the headlight is slightly out of shape. There are some scuffs on the bumpers and some small paint blisters on the rear arches. All these defects are minor and cosmetic only but remember this is a track car not a show queen and it could all be tidied up for not a lot of money if you wanted - all these points are visible in the photos if you look closely. The front seats have some water marks on them too as can be seen.
Any inspection is welcome as is a test drive with proof of insurance for serious buyers, the car is taxed and in use.
As can be seen on the above service list the car is due a service, I am happy to have an oil service carried out by separate negotiation if necessary.
It's also worth pointing out that since it was built there has been NO mechanical advisories on the MOT's, as you would expect (except tyres).
Even if you can do the work yourself you could not buy and build a car to this spec for the asking price, that said I am open to sensible offers from genuine buyers.
